This weekend, I made a little progress on my lead pile.

I got my "Spugnaught" and Gort Beast assembled, though I'm still trying to get my Landmate/"C.L.A.W.S." mech put together.

I also got base coats on all my Hishen and Grath figures.  They still need two or three more nights of work before they're any good, but "the journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step" and all that.

Lastly, I picked up some nice model railroad trees on sale at Hobby Lobby.  What's nice is that they're already assembled, so I can use 'em right away, though I need to glue some washers to their bases to help 'em stand up more reliably, so there is a *little* craft work to do.  Combined with oval-ish green piece of felt, they make a nice little grove.  Just the thing for some soldiers to hide in. :-)
