Victory Force had a 30% off sale yesterday only, and like the sucker I am I dropped $20 on some more miniatures.  These guys are part of an Appleseed inspired line of scifi miniatures listed under their "JC Figures" line.  I picked up a box of 6 "grunts" (who look suspiciously like Master Chief from Halo in various poses) and a "Hot Anime Babe" commander figure with two pistols and lots of spikey hair.  (Naturally that hair will be painted blue.  Or maybe red.  ^_^)

These figures are really, really good looking on the website, and I'll comment on them here once they arrive.  They're a little on the pricey side of things, weighing in at $3.33 a figure for the grunts and $5.50 for the leader, but that's in line for "specialty" figures like GW's LoTR, etc.  So at roughly a buck a figure off, I couldn't help myself.  These guys look like just the trick to fight Spugs and Hydrissians (who are cheaper, btw).

I really dig the Anime look of these figures, and I hope JCFigures keeps making more variations for a long time to come.
