Woohoo!  Christy is letting me go to Austin for the weekend to geek out at MilleniumCon 9!  It's the only real convention in Texas that has a huge miniature wargaming component.  I've attended almost every year for the past 6 years, and I was pretty sure I was going to have to sit this one out.

And that would have been a shame - my favorite wargame rules publisher (Two Hour Wargames) is very well represented as the Con this year, and I'm signed up to play pretty much non-stop THW stuff.  From "Zombies of the 3rd Reich" to an Omaha Beach landing to an alien infested "get the data core" free-for-all game, I'm going to have a blast.

My only regret is that I'll be very busy with the convention, pretty much from the time I get there until the time I leave, and won't have time to go visiting friends.  So I'm basically going to pretend that the Con is in some city I've never been to, and try not to get home sick.
