At the recent Victory Force "tax day sale" I picked up a few new figures.

First off is a squad of 6 "Appleseed" style "New Eden Soldiers" to go with my Armored Anime Babes.  Now I'll have enough figures to make up two fire teams.  I also grabbed what the manufacturer calls a "CLAWs", which is a Landmate style power armor.  Neat stuff.

I also grabbed a "Star Trek" away-team!  VF sells some "trek" like figures as a pack, with a commander, science officer and 3 "red shirts", one of whom is toting a phaser rifle.  They're quite cute, and are going to the top of my painting queue as they'll probably only take an evening or two to finish.  Given the more plot driven nature of Star Trek, this team seems like a natural for some Mythic/5150 gaming.  "Captain's Log, Stardate 5150.112 - a landing party has been dispatched to the planet Anegal Illimu to search for the source of a distress beacon...."

I also managed to score some GW walls&hedges terrain kits at 80% off.  I only had 10 bucks on me, so I only grabbed two.  In retrospect I probably should have grabbed all 10 boxes and sold them on ebay, since even at twice what I paid, that's less than half of retail.  Oh well. :-)
