I've been completely unable to do any gaming related projects this week. It's very frustrating. There are plenty of weeks that I don't want to do anything, but this time I do, and I can't make it happen.
I really need a few hours to play some Oblivion. I just got the game recently (yeah, I know, I'm the last guy on the planet), and I've only had a few hours to play so far.
I have a whole bunch of new minis (as I mentioned recently) that need to be washed off (metal figures generally need to have their casting residue washed off before you prime them), assembled and primed. Well, only the bigger models need assembly, most of them are single piece castings.
I really hope that tonight I get the chance to at least get the figures washed and trimmed. I get the day off tomorrow, and weather permitting, I'd like to do some spray-priming of these figures. The Gort, Landmate and Spugnaught will take some serious modeling efforts to assemble though.
And even though that Dark Ages campaign completely fell apart (sigh), I still have a rather nice set of Andalusians and Vikings on my workbench taunting me. Yet somehow when I get home I'm only interested in sitting on the couch or maybe websurfing.
What's the point of this entry? None, really. I'm just frustrated and bored, and what good is a blog if you can't vent?
