It looks like my fears of my fledgeling D&D campaign dying off were premature. 3 of the 4 players are actively interested in pursuing the game after spring break, and the 4th is, well, hard to get to pay attention sometimes.
So, it's back to the planning stages for me.
Nobody wants to play either a Cleric or Wizard it seems, so I'll have to find some way to get them a healer or mage. As it turns out, the second adventure I have planned for them has a Cleric in it that could be willing to join the part as a henchman. I actually really like this idea, since it allows the players to stay in very "action oriented" roles, but have a healer around for support. Clerics generally need to be willing to work in a support role, and NPCs are willing to do whatever I want them to. :-)
It looks like we'll have an Elven/Half Elven Archer (or maybe Ranger), Dwarven Rogue, some sort of Barbarian type, and an unspecified 4th character, who I'm hoping to convince to be either a Mage or Sorceror, though another fighter would be ok.
